James Booker loved to improvise The Beatles and this is one of my favourites. Here he adds his New Orleans style to Penny Lane. Listen to it below. Please note, we transcribed parts from 2 different recordings for the best result so you may notice some slight differences from Booker’s recording. If you want to hear the exact notes of the transcription you can listen below to the midi file although to get the feeling and expression you must listen to Booker also.
